Description
Ultrason E 2010 is an unreinforced, medium viscosity standard injection molding PESU grade. Ultrason E 2010 Natural flows readily and offers outstanding heat resistance and dimensional stability.
Ultrason E 2010 G4 is a 20% glass reinforced, medium viscosity injection molding PESU grade with high rigidity and strength.
Ultrason E 2010 G6 is a 30% glass reinforced, medium viscosity injection molding PESU grade with high rigidity and strength.
Ultrason E 2010 MR is an unreinforced, medium viscosity standard injection molding PESU grade. The material flows readily and offers outstanding heat resistance and dimensional stability.
Ultrason E 2010 C6 is a medium viscosity, high-temperature resistant, amorphous thermoplastic derived from polyethersulfone (PESU) reinforced with 30 % carbon fiber. Exhibits high rigidity & strength, outstanding thermal stability, creep strength at high temperatures, high stiffness, good dielectric properties, high mechanical strength, excellent hydrolysis resistance, high resistance to thermal aging, very high long-term service temperature, resistance to weathering, good dimensional stability and good electrical insulating capacity. Can be processed using injection molding. Applications include automotive construction, household sectors, and electric & electronic components.
Ultrason E 2010 HC is an special unreinforced, medium viscosity injection moulding grade for applications demanding inherent color, transparency and free from specks.

Ultrason is used in high-quality parts and highly stressed mass-produced items because of its broad range of properties. Consequently, Ultrason can replace thermoset materials, metals and ceramics.
Ultrason grades are high-temperature resistant, amorphous thermoplastics derived from polysulfone (PSU), polyethersulfone (PESU) and polyphenylsulfone (PPSU). Their wide spectrum of properties allows them to be molded into high-quality engineering parts and highly stressed mass-produced articles.
So Ultrason is suitable for many applications in automotive construction, in the food and household sectors, but also for membranes used for water filtration as well as electric and electronic components.
The Ultrason resins are amorphous thermoplastics derived from polyethersulfone (PESU), polysulfone (PSU) and polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) and offer very high resistance to heat. Their wide spectrum of beneficial properties allows them to be molded into high-quality engineering parts and high-load mass-produced articles. They can be processed by almost all the techniques adopted for thermoplastics. Ultrason can be successfully used for applications in which other plastics, e. g. polyamide, polycarbonate, polyoxymethylene and polyalkylene terephthalates, fail to meet the requirements. By virtue of their extraordinary versatility, Ultrason resins can substitute thermosets, metals and ceramics.
